PRIORITY WORSHIP Ministry began with Terry Williams following the call of God to raise awareness that worship is a Biblical priority of life. This ministry was launched in 2015 and provides worship leadership, preaching, coaching, consulting, clinics, and conferencing for pastors, leaders, choirs, orchestras, praise teams, bands, and tech teams. With a passion for worship and a desire to offer the Lord the very best, Terry has partnered with churches, Christian Universities, and Seminaries to edify, engage, and encourage all of the body of Christ in a lifestyle of Biblical Worship for the Glory of God and the proclamation of the Gospel!
Is addition to this itinerant ministry, Terry serves as the Music and Worship Consultant of the Florida Baptist Convention. Prior to this transition, he served for fourteen years as the Team Strategist of the Music & Worship Ministries at the Florida Baptist Convention. He was the Associate Pastor for Music and Worship at First Baptist Church of Ocala, Florida for over ten years, as well as other churches in Florida, Georgia, and Texas. Terry holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Stetson University in Deland, Florida and attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
Terry has been the Director of the over 600-member Florida Worship Choir & Orchestra since January 2002. Under his leadership, this team has led worship concerts and missional work in Coventry, England; the Sydney Opera House in Sydney, Australia; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; as well as Carnegie Hall, Central Park, and Brooklyn Tabernacle in New York. They have recorded seven choir and orchestra projects with Prism Music entitled: GOD OF THE AGES, GREAT I AM, ALMIGHTY GOD, GOD OF HOPE, YOU’RE OUR GOD, OUR GOD REIGNS, and GOD OF GLORY.
Terry’s passion combined with his experience as a music minister and worship leader for over 40 years, gives him a unique perspective and insight for training and inspiring today’s worshipers. He and his wife Earlene live in Florida and share a common calling as ministry partners
